Artwork Gallery

Below is a selection of artwork I have produced, some being very early pieces and some recent.  The first photo shows an original artwork of our iconic Whangamata Beach - 'Another Day in Paradise', but with a unique twist . . . a fish-eye view encapsulating the whole beach in one image.  This was painted during the first Covid Lockdown of 2020.  The original artwork (measuring 2000mm x 750mm) was then digitally scanned to allow high quality Giclée prints to be produced in a variety of sizes, ranging from 700mm x 325mm upward.  (Second photo is of a 920mm x 420mm framed print.  Box frame options include black, white or natural pine).  Also had the Chrome Man - 'Escaping my Bubble' scanned, with prints available of this as well.  (Third photo - 750mm x 560mm framed print).  Enquiries regarding framed or unframed prints are welcome.

The first four surfboard photos are of the winning entry in the inaugural 'Harcourts / Whangamata Art Challenge 2017' held in January 2017, open to all 'resident' Coromandel artists, and judged by Finn McCahon Jones. The board comprises a variety of painting techniques, including airbrush, spray-gun and brush painting, plus the use of 'liquid masking' on the top side. Most of my artwork is painted using colour-fast automotive acrylic lacquer for a non-fading finish. Whether it's a surfboard or framed art or 'whatever', I can cover a variety of subject matter and styles, and I'm happy to undertake commission work. For more information, or if you would like something done, please don't hesitate to contact me for a no obligation chat.
